Hidden in Plain Sight: Concealing Weapons in the Home
Reprinted From:  The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA)

I wrote an article awhile back on storing defensive firearms for ready use.  This was a more traditional look at the "gun safe versus night stand" dilemma for storing your firearms so they are safe, yet readily accessible.  There are a lot of different ways to store firearms for defensive use.  Some are obvious, some not so much.  I found this archived article from my Concealed Carry Magazine and thought it was very complimentary to the idea of not only storing firearms for defensive use, but for storing them "tactically" around the home.  This makes them more accessible to YOU, and less accessible to the bad guys.

I was able to get permission from the USCCA Inc. to reprint it for you.  I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

I find my USCCA Inc. membership invaluable and strongly recommend you take a look at membership for yourself and your family.
